WINDOW UNIT – LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY

Glass America Window Manufacturing, Inc. agrees to provide a free replacement for any defective vinyl window part for the lifetime of the original purchase to the original purchase to the original purchaser.

INSULATING GLASS UNIT – 25 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

The insulating glass portion of the window is warranted not to “fail” for a period of twenty-five from the date of purchase.  A “failed” unit is one that develops a significant obstruction of vision resulting from a film formation of dust collection between the interior glass surfaces of the unit caused by failure of the hermetic seal.  Small marks, scratches, and spots which do not exceed our company standards of federal government specifications DD-04516 do not make insulating glass units defective.  Stress cracks in the glass are warranted for (1) one year.

WINDOW PARTS – 10 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Glass America Window Manufacturing, Inc. agrees to provide a free replacement for any defective window part for a period of ten years from the date of the original purchase to the original consumer purchaser.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

This warranty does not include material that required replacement because of mishandling, misuse, abuse, accidents, fire, acts of nature, chemical pollutants in the atmosphere, improper installation, or any other cause beyond the control of the manufacturer.  Glass Americas’ obligation under this warranty is limited to furnishing replacement material and does not cover any possible labor charges.  For service under this warranty, contact your dealer or Glass America Window Manufacturing, Inc.  Replacement material may be picked up at Glass America or at any designated distribution point.  Glass America makes no other expressed or implied guarantees or warranties and shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages with respect to the products covered by this warranty.  SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, AND SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR THE LIMITATIONS OF REMEDIES FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.  THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
